Out of gas in San Diego? We bring fuel to you.
Quick Tow SD runs mobile fuel delivery across San Diego County for drivers who run dry on the freeway, in a parking lot, or anywhere a walk to the nearest station is unsafe or impractical. Our trucks carry up to 5 gallons of regular unleaded for emergencies, and we can route a diesel or premium-rated tank if you call ahead. The driver pours, you start the engine, and we get you to the next station. No tow needed in most cases.

What do homeowners ask about Fuel Delivery?
How much does mobile fuel delivery cost in San Diego?
Our flat service fee is $85, plus the cost of the fuel itself (we charge what we pay - no markup on the gas). Most calls total $100-$120 for 2-3 gallons. We don't charge extra for nights, weekends, holidays, or freeway calls.
How much fuel do you bring?
Up to 5 gallons of regular unleaded. That is enough to get you to any gas station in San Diego County and have a buffer left over. We do not sell more than 5 gallons because once you can make it to a real pump, you should refuel properly - filling a vehicle from jerry cans is slow and you do not want to do it on a freeway shoulder.
Do you bring diesel or premium?
Yes, with advance notice. Call dispatch, tell us what you need, and we route a truck stocked with that fuel. Standard call response runs slightly longer (45-60 minutes) because we may need to fuel up before heading to you. We do not bring kerosene, racing fuel, E85, or any specialty blends.
What if I am on the freeway?
Stay in the vehicle with seatbelts fastened and hazards on. Tell us your closest exit number, the freeway, and your direction of travel. We respond directly to freeway shoulder calls every day - I-5, I-15, I-8, I-805, the 52, 78, 56, and 163. CHP may also stop by if traffic is hazardous; that is normal.
What if my EV ran out of charge - do you bring electricity?
No. There is no equivalent of a portable charger that can give an EV meaningful range in a few minutes on the side of the road - the physics are different. If your EV is out of charge, the right move is a flatbed to the nearest Supercharger or Level-3 station. We provide that flatbed transport at our standard EV-tow rate.
Do I have to be AAA to call for fuel delivery?
No. Quick Tow SD is pay-per-call - no membership fee, no waiting for enrollment, no need to be a AAA member. If you have AAA roadside, call them first since they will reimburse the call. If you don't, save the annual fee and call us direct.

Broke down on the 5 at 1 a.m. Dispatcher answered on the first ring, gave me a real ETA, and the flatbed showed up 35 minutes later. Driver walked me through the load and I was home by 3. Exactly what I needed.
Our 26-foot rental truck died halfway through a move. Called three companies; Quick Tow was the only one who picked up. Heavy wrecker was onsite in under an hour and they dropped the truck exactly where we needed.
Model Y wouldn't shift out of park. They rolled up with a low-clearance flatbed, knew exactly what button combo puts it in transport mode, loaded with soft straps. No drama, no scratches, no nonsense.
